In the year 2020, we have seen a substantial shift in how events are held due to COVID-19. Even though many events have been canceled, others have gone virtual. Celebrating 28 years for the benefit of furry four-legged friends, See Spot Walk is joining the list of events that have gone virtual!
Idaho Humane Society’s See Spot Walk
If you are unfamiliar with the Idaho Humane Society’s See Spot Walk, in the past this event has attracted thousands of people and their furry companions in a walk that encourages dog adoptions and donations.
See Spot Walk Dates
Starting on September 28, the event will be held until October 3rd. Rather than just a day, the event has been expanded to a week-long celebration! All festivities are held online or at your own pace in a safe, socially distant manner.
Boise’s Virtual Event
While continuing the tradition of walking your furry friend, this year will allow participants to walk separately (allowing for social distancing). See Spot Walk will also host an online Virtual Vendor Marketplace on Facebook. Included in the social distant and virtual fun event will be a photo scavenger hunt in the Treasure Valley, dog contests, fundraising teams, and unique treats and services.
How to Register for See Spot Walk
Registration is easy for See Spot Walk, and there are different dollar amounts you can contribute. Packages may include a T-shirt, dog bandana, entry to online dog contests, and the scavenger hunt. Registration goes until October 2nd.
