Flying M Coffeehouse may be one of Boise’s most popular coffee shops and for good reason. Flying M’s vibrant and unique shop embodies Boise, its community, and delicious coffee. Not only has Flying M been making deliciously flavorful coffee since 1992, but they make their own coffee beans, pastries, and they have a quirky gift shop.
Locally Roasted Coffee Beans
Flying M started roasting beans in 1995 at their Boise location. Today Flying M has three locations:

- Flying M Coffeegarage, 1314 2nd St. S, Nampa, ID 83651
- Flying M Coffeeshop, 724 Arthur St, Caldwell, ID
Over 25 years later, Flying M utilizes the same roaster at the Nampa location.
Flying M creates a signature blend, espresso blend, and more. Although Totally Boise’s favorite drink has to be Flying M’s cold brew on nitro –– it’s smooth, flavorful and we could sip on it all day. If going for a hot drink, Flying M adds their touch to every cup with a cute foam leaf and other shapes.
Pastries made from Scratch
The pastries at Flying M are all made in house and from scratch. Displayed in a clear case by the register, it’s hard to resist the temptation of wanting to buy every single treat. Cookies, rice krispy treats, and potato cakes are among the few of many baked goods offered.
Local Boise Gift Shop
Totally Boise’s favorite part at Flying M is the gift shop. Whether visiting Boise or a resident, the gift shop is the ultimate go-to spot for a quirky birthday or holiday gift. Find anything from coffee mugs, comical (pizza’s here) oven mitts, travel cards, and local jewelry –– Flying M also has its own gear and travel coffee mugs.
Flying M has won Best of Boise Coffee for over a decade and continues to be the go-to coffee shop in town.
