The pandemic has been a stressor on many families, businesses, and even nonprofit organizations. Recognizing the increased need for support, local nonprofit center Idaho Gives is extending its week-long efforts from April 29th to May 6th.
Idaho Gives Highlights Local Nonprofit Organizations
Idaho Gives is a resource for all Idaho nonprofits, an easy way to search and support local nonprofits of your choice. During Idaho Gives Week, the platform encourages donations to organizations and hosts prizes and giveaways to participants.

With over 100 nonprofits to give to, there are ample organizations to spread the love. Using the Idaho Gives accessible search toolbar, you can look for organizations based on location or cause — animals, community advocacy, environment, social justice, along with many others.

Idaho Gives Contests & Prizes
Idaho Gives will be hosting friendly competitions between organizations, and nonprofits will have the chance to compete against one another for additional funds for their cause. The competition groups are based on doner location, creativity, and other fun categories.

Idaho Virtual Events & Volunteering
Monetary giving is always highly appreciated, but there are other ways to help during Idaho Gives. Idaho Gives is currently in need of phone bank volunteers. This is an easy way to get involved with organizations because every contribution helps. Phone bank volunteers are in charge of taking phone donations in the comfort of their own homes.
Volunteer Dates/Times Needed:
April 29th-May 5th: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.
May 6th: 5 a.m.-5 p.m.
