Best Outdoor Dining in Boise According to OpenTable

It’s summer and you know what that means, outdoor dining is back! Nothing better than sitting out and enjoying sun rays, while eating delicious food, sipping on tasty drinks, and taking in the view. OpenTable has listed the top outdoor dining restaurants in Boise and we’re here to share them with all of you.

1. Riverside Grill:

A part of the Riverside Hotel, is the Riverside Grill, a spot for locally sourced breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner favorites. The Riverside Grill is known for taking advantage of Idaho’s bounty with local trout, potatoes, beef, and more. Plus they serve specialty cocktails featuring local distillers, Idaho craft beers, and local Idaho wines. If you’re lucky during weekend brunch you’ll get to experience a musician or harpist.

Located along the Boise Greenbelt and the Boise River, this restaurant will give you all the amazing outdoor views you need! They serve fresh, locally sourced cuisine and specialty cocktails, emphasizing the local draft beers on tap. Not to say, you can enjoy live music at the Sandbar every evening and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday during summer.

3. Telaya Wine Co:

One of the wineries in Garden City that lines the Boise River Greenbelt is Telaya Wine Co. A few things that make Telaya Wine Co. stand out is their dog-friendly patio, above-ground fire pit, and frequently rotating food trucks on the scene. Sit back and relax, while sipping on some of the best Idaho wines!

Located in downtown Boise, the Modern is recognized for their eclectic and contemporary setting. They make classic drinks with a unique twist and offer foods inspired by the seasons and our local farmers. In the evening enjoy strung lights and fire pits on their outdoor patio!

5. The Sturiale Place:

This old house located in the Central Addition district of Downtown Boise was built in 1893, has lots of history, and is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden! They serve up cafe essentials and homemade Italian entrees. Come for a little, end up staying for a long time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and delicious food.

Located on the corner of Main and 11th, you’ll find the Owyhee Tavern, Boise’s local steakhouse and seafood restaurant. Sit on the patio in the heart of downtown and enjoy fresh seafood, chef specials, and tasty drink concoctions. Their happy hour is killer! So we recommend you head there from 3PM - 6PM on weekdays.

7. Chandlers Steakhouse:

Found in the BoDo area is Bonefish Grill, who specializes in market-fresh fish, savory grilled specialties and hand-crafted cocktails. Enjoy locally-created Neighborhood Catch dishes, all while sitting back and relaxing along one of downtown’s busiest areas, ideal for people watching!
