Idaho is all about our community and helping others when you can is one of the many reasons we are lucky enough to call this state our home. During these times of feeling helpless, there are still plenty of ways to help out your neighbors. Do you ever wonder what you can give to Idaho? The Idaho Nonprofit center created a campaign designed to bring the state together, raising money and awareness for Idaho Nonprofits. This campaign is a powerful way to allow the community to give back to Idaho supporting local communities and organizations. Idaho Gives allows Idaho to promote those organizations that do amazing things for our community.
Idaho Gives is sponsored by a ton of local businesses around Idaho, Idaho Central Credit Union is the presenting sponsor of this local campaign. This year Idaho Gives beat the record on the nonprofit organizations that joined putting them up to 630 organizations.
Nonprofit organizations such as Idaho Food Bank, Idaho Conservation League, Idaho Humane Society, The Salvation Army, and the Boise Rescue Mission Ministries are all places that could use donations to continue helping the ones around us. Idaho Gives also allows these organizations to earn prizes when reaching certain goals set for that year!
Idaho Gives 2020 has been extended until May 7th, they were able to extend their donation deadline in order to raise more money for these nonprofit organizations needing our help now, more than ever before due to the COVID-19 crisis.
