Located on the second floor of downtown Boise’s historic Alaska Center, Clockwise Escape Room in Boise just opened and is a must-go-to spot. Their high-tech immersive escape room offers a challenging yet fun experience.
With two locations in California, it’s no wonder the escape room is so elaborate –– it originated from the San Francisco Bay area, the nation’s leading center of high tech and innovation. Before your escape room experience, Clockwise has a waiting room where you can play games like Connect Four and Go Fish before starting your adventure!
Totally Boise Gets Locked in an Asylum
The year is 1970, and our group is locked in some asylum where the staff is hosting their own top-secret experiments on us. Our mission? –– get out as fast as we can! Our room was designed as though it came straight from a Hollywood movie set –– packed with clues and riddles that allowed us to enter another room, where we would eventually escape.
All-Ages and Levels
Clockwise is accommodating for all-ages by giving you the option to make it as easy or difficult as you’d like. The Asylum is rated a medium-level room; however, the Totally Boise team may have asked gamemaster Vanilla for a little bit of extra help along the way. Since you can make the game your own, it’s a great experience for all ages and different functions such as the ones listed below.

Clockwise Escape Rooms
The Asylum Escape Room is the perfect introduction to escape rooms. Clockwise is currently open with one escape room, with plans to launch another by the end of January, followed by a third.

Private Groups and Events
Each escape room allows for 7-8 people at a time. Previous to COVID-19, that meant you could be grouped with other parties if yours didn’t fulfill the number of people –– which is a fun experience! However, personalizing and ensuring the safety of guests, every booking is a private party.
Clockwise is also available for private events. You can book a room for a group of up to 8 people or multiple escape rooms for larger parties. When booking an escape room event, you can make use of their private party room for additional lounging and games!
Pricing
Pricing at the Escape room is based on how many people there are in a group. The more people you bring, the better the deal! The Totally Boise team consisted of five, and it was the perfect number to find clues and break out of the asylum.
- 2 Players: $34 per person
- 3-5 Players: $32 per person
- 6-7 Players: $29 per person

Clockwise Escape Room is hands down one of Totally Boise’s most fun experiences we have gotten to have. From the moment we walked in, we were entertained by the games. Once inside the room, we have such a blast finding clues and playing the roles of “patients” locked in an asylum!
