A treasure within the city is the Idaho State Capitol. Whether you take a guided tour or explore yourself, you can enjoy the 50,000 square feet of marble inside!

7. Find the Prettiest Tree in the City

Being the City of Trees, this one can’t be hard. Struggling? We recommend walking the Boise River Greenbelt or heading towards Hyde Park.

9. Cozy Up and Watch Your Favorite Halloween Movie

Bundle up in your favorite blanket and throw on your favorite Halloween-themed movie. Some of our faves include “Hocus Pocus”, “Beetlejuice” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”.

Be sure to check out what The Egyptian Theater is playing this season!

10. Tell Your Favorite Scary Story

Join friends around a bonfire or cuddle up on the couch and prepare to get spooked with your favorite scary stories.

11. Jump in a Huge Pile of Leaves

Rake up a giant pile of leaves, take a few steps back, run and jump! Bonus: after you can collect all the leaves in a trash bag and leave it for the City of Boise to collect.

12. Throw on Your Best Costume and Go Trick-or-Treating

We love Halloween, and even more, we love trick-or-treating! Grab your favorite costume and prepare to wow the crowds. A Boise favorite spot is the infamous Harrison Blvd., which is rumored to give out thousands of pieces of candy every Halloween.

13. Sample Your Way Through Idaho's Agri-Tourism

Idaho is chock-full of farmers, ranchers, flower growers, and much in-between. We are a proud state of people who like to earn a living with simply our own ingenuity, hard work, and the bounty nature provides. Get to know Idaho better through our fabulous agri-tourism!
